Rust
The main cab is leaking as the roof is beginning to rust away. The windscreen is about to fall out. The doors have huge rusting holes and door frames are also rusting away. The rust is now of major concern and we have taken it in to get the rust removed. The rust man feels this is mainly cosmetic and the Beast is salvageable. The rust removal will take 2 - 3 months. We are hoping we can then drop the front windscreen onto the bonnet to give us a 180 degree shooting angle for photography. Unfortunately this proves impossible as the roof drops below the windscreen at the front.
Rustman, the rust remover suggests we just remove the windscreen and learn to put it back in. His windscreen remover will show us how to do it ! I am a bit dubious and still thinking of using a modified windscreen.
