Wheel Hub Hooks
The hooks only work in rims which have holes in them. I always buy rims which can use this life saving recovery gear. The picture above shows the hooks incorrectly applied. The hooks should be placed much lower on the rim and a flat metal pad comes up against the top of the rim. The hooks must be placed not to damage the brakes or the drums. The high lift jack then lifts the whole car and wheel. You can then fill in the hole if you are stuck or place another jack under the axle if you have a flat tyre with inadequate space between axle and road to deploy the jack.
